Last First Day of Highschool

Yes, it's true. And I know what you're thinking all those grown-up and older..."I remember that, that seems like such a long time ago." Please, spare me and try not to rub it in that your older than me. But I do feel quite old being in Grade 12. My first day of Grade 12 was not all that exciting I must say. I played volleyball for one class and listened to Mrs. Eyjlofsson speak for the first half of the day. Quite interesting I must say.
After this summer I actually know what it feels like to have close Christian friends. I do not get along with anybody at school the same way I used to. I used to think that they were kin of cool, all their rebellious ways. Now I see that they are so stupid for lack of a better word, to think that drinking and etc. is fun. I really do not like at all. It's all they talk about and I guess I've never really noticed before. It makes me miss all my LDC friends even more.
And I think I am now very ready to graduate and leave the town of Riverton for deeper things in life. In fact, I can't wait, I have a feeling that the days of this school year will just drag by...and you probably think..."No, Janette, Grade 12 flies by." If you were thinking that you should just hold on and let me finish. The days WILL drag by but at the end of the year I will not know where the time has gone.
Now that I am done explaining things in life to you....I will go and enjoy the wonderful tastes of chicken burgers.
