The Good and the Bad

In the email I sent my family I forgot to mention the weather. I have worn a sweater and long pants every evening and sweaters in the morning. The sun is hot but the wind is chilly. But it is still way better than -30 right? Today we went to Mombacho Cloud forest and it was amazing! I can´t wait to show you movies of the zipline!
My Spanish is getting better and better and after 5 more weeks Ill be fluent!
Showers are all cold and hydro is out often.
People are very friendly here and the food is right up there with Mennonite meals! and the jusice....the juice beats all!
Not everthing is perfect though. One of the workers, Charles Brandt, fell off the roof and is in the hospital. He is doing okay but has a hairline fracture on a vertabrae and a seperation between two other vertabraes. It would be awesome if you could pray for him and his wife Luella. One of the girls became a Christian because of this so that is reason to praise God through this.
Okay...Im off the sleep...I have to wake up early tomorrow. We are having breakfast at 6 or 6:30am!!!!

I am Here!

I have very little time right now because we are almost ready to head back to Normas but I thought I d let everyone know that Im here and having a good time. Today was really long but I hope that I will get lots of rest...which I doubt because of the celebrations going on here but whatever. The girls at the orphange are beautiful and full of energy and I am excited about spending time with them. But I gotta a go now...see you all in a couple weeks!!!!

Oh, and I got that last post from the back of a business card...for a guitar company!

Get Rich Quick?

We are starting a cat ranch with 100,000 cats. Each cat will average 12 kittens a year. The cat skins will sell for 30c each. One hundred men can skin 5,000 cats a day - we figure a daily net profit of over $1,000. Now what shall we feed the cat's? We will start a rat ranch next door with 1,000,000 rats. The rats will breed 12 times faster than the cats. So, we will have four rats to feed each day to each cat. Now what shall we feed the rats? We will feed the rats the carcasses of the cats after they have been skinned. Now get this! We feed the rats to the cats and the cats to the rats and get the skins for nothing.

Many moons have passed since I last posted. But I won't go on and on with reasons and excuses. For there really are none. But I have something much more exciting to write about. Although this subject may not bring you the joyous feeling it brought me. In exactly two weeks from this moment I will be spending my first night in Nicaragua. Hurrah for warm weather!

But enough of that. What else is new? My fish are still alive, Tinkerbell has not eaten them and I have not forgotten to feed them. Though I do fear I might overfeed them which is a bad thing to do apparently.

Well, my mind is completely blank so I will keep this one very very short =)
